A Someone’s déjà vu, Ostrava 2023
printed RPG manual, RISO print, saddle stitch binding, 36 pages, 11 × 20 cm, 20 copies
The project takes the form of a role-playing game (RPG) structured around dialogue between players and a Game Master. Each participant constructs a character and, through collective decision-making, navigates a shared narrative.
Rather than focusing on fantasy tropes such as battles or magic, the game centers on everyday moral dilemmas and situations drawn from lived experience. The narrative unfolds through conversation, shaped by the players’ choices and interactions.
Inspired by principles of Nordic LARP, the work emphasizes immersion, co-authorship, and emotional engagement. The story is not predetermined but emerges through the dynamics between participants, making each iteration of the game unique.
